    Malcolm X, an American civil rights activist, Muslim minister, orator, and human rights advocate, is considered one of the most prominent figures in African-American history. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on September 8, 1931, Malcolm X witnessed the racial tensions in the country from a young age.
