Early Life and Education
Philippe Entremont was born into a family of musicians, with a conductor father and pianist mother. He studied at the Paris Conservatory under the tutelage of renowned pianists Jean Doyen and Marguerite Long.
Piano Career
Entremont's breakthrough came in when he won fifth place at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin International Piano Competition.
